As a business owner you want to promote your business with custom promotional products and other types of marketing, but is it really worth it? A new survey, commissioned by Campaigner, an email services provider and conducted by Hurwitz & Associates, has proven that advertising pays!
Over 250 companies with 1 to 20 employees were included this particular survey. 65% had increased their marketing budget and had an increase in revenue during the same time period. Another 30% who kept their marketing expenses at the same budget, saw a revenue increases as well. Only the remaining 5% of the business surveyed, who increased spending, saw a decline.
The consensus? In more than 9 out of 10 cases increasing, not reducing, your marketing budget WILL increase your revenue. By marketing more now and keeping your company name in front of customers and potential customers you will improve your company’s position when the economy bounces back.
History has proven that businesses who reduce or stop their marketing efforts and budgets during a slow economy suffer greatly…that’s if they survived at all.
